Full description
In this experience, you will surf at the beach with the best conditions of the day for your level, whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced surfer! At the end of the session, you will also discover one of Rio's hidden gems, a place of unique beauty that very few tourists knows. Are you ready to live Rio like a carioca (local)?

After meeting at Barra da Tijuca, we will explore the gorgeous coastline of the city in search of the best spot for you! This experience is a great opportunity to get to know the beautiful, but not very touristy, beaches on the west side of Rio de Janeiro.

Once on the beach, we'll explain the safety measures at sea, warm up and practice pop up movement on the board, first on the sand.

When the movement up is perfect we will go to the water to catch some waves!

You can add a surf photos package for an extra, please let us know if you are interested.

In the end I will take you to a place of unique beauty to enjoy a view like that!

Important: the surf session lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes (30 minutes above the average). The total time of 4 hours is an average that depends on how far we will have to drive to find the waves.

It was just an amazing experience! It already started with Gabriel to pick the perfect day for my level for surfing. It went on with an amazing course from Emiliano, beginning of which I couldn’t stand on the board while at the end I was catching all the waves! It was simply an amazing experience. Gabriel provided also the neoprene suits and made sure we all feel safe and well prepared. It was our first time to surf ever but the instructions and explanations were so good so several of us were truly catching the waves and surfed. The choice of location in terms of waves and experience level were perfectly selected and the size of group was simply perfect. In our case we were only 7 persons group and 2 instructors. All was good, however, ocean was pretty cold and waves were braking close to shore. Our coach Emilio done his job in good and professional manner, however, we were surfing only 3 hours, apart from 4 stated in guide. But after surfing we went to sightseeing spot, so may be it counts.
