Discover the best rides in Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris boasts some of the world's leading theme-park attractions, easily rivalling the franchise's US operations with a charming retro-futuristic feel that's all its own. Of course, you won't want to miss out on all the best rides, so what are they?

Space Mountain: Mission 2

The famous Space Mountain adventure continues with a steam-punk twist. This time the enclosed roller-coaster launches budding daredevils even deeper into space!

Phantom Manor

Paris' answer to the Haunted Mansion ride in California. This elaborate ghost train is perfect for the whole family, so long as they're not too easily spooked!

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster

Definitely helps if you're an Aerosmith fan but, as cheesy as it might sound, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster is just about the most fun you can have with your stomach in your head!

Star Tours

The Star Wars simulator has been updated for a younger audience in most Disney parks worldwide, but fans of the original trilogy will love Paris' classic version.

Big Thunder Mountain

This old favorite hurtles guests along a railroad that ventures underwater, through caves, and around an epic landscape of imposing buttes!

Disneyland Paris: Our Tips

How to get there?

Disneyland Paris is located about 20 miles outside of the city. The closest train station is Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy, which is conveniently served by Eurostar trains. Direct shuttle buses are available from all Paris airports.

Where to stay?

There are plenty of official hotels on or near the park site. As well as the main Disneyland Hotel, there's Disney's Sequoia Lodge, which is recommended during the winter months. For those on more stringent budgets, Disney's Hotel Santa Fe is tremendous value.

How many days?

To get the most out of your visit you'll probably need to spend a minimum of 2 days there, though plan for at least 3 if you're bringing children during peak season.

How much spending money?

A family of four can expect to spend around €200-€300 a day on food and drinks alone, although booking a set menu in advance can save you both money and time. The rest depends on how mad you plan to go in the shops!

What People Are Saying About Disneyland Paris

Magical not enough time to do everything

One day is not enough time to do both parks even arriving on the first train in and last train out of St Pancreas

It was great. Had no problems, quick and simple

Coming from London I had no problems. Easy to find, friendly helpful people and quick to get there

Very good way to see the major attractions in one day

A really good trip, no problems, got picked up on time. Everything was explained on the bus on the way to Paris in a number of languages making it accessible to everyone. You only get just over 6 hours in Paris which means you have to go around quite fast. Unfortunately we missed the bus back to our hotel, however as explained by the guide on the way there you can catch a metro back to Disneyland from near the leaving point for just over 7 euros.

Save some time that you can spend in a cafe!

With the ticket for the Louvre you really can save some time staying in line to buy the tickets and another time to enter the Louvre. Our line was so short and we entered in a few minutes. And when you pick up the tickets at the store, in that area there are two really nice streets where you can have drinks and taste some French cheese or whatever. Disneyland ticket was also good to have already, so no lining up, just for the security check. But at this time there are not so many tourist at Disney anyway, luckily!!!
