Everything was authentic, rustic, and wild. We found cayman, fished for piranha, hiked the jungle, swam with dolphins, hammock camped, enjoyed indigenous art, music, and dance, watched the sun rise over the Amazon’s Rio de Negro, and fell asleep beneath the sparkling Southern Cross, marveled at the meeting of the waters, and ate good food every day. Our guide was well educated, fascinating, and thoughtful. The people of the Amazon are beautiful, smart, and kind. We saw and heard many wild animals in their native habitats throughout the tour. The rainforest is wild, huge, and mysterious; this tour lets you experience her truth and strength. We are so deeply grateful we chose this tour.

We spent 4 days 3 nights at the Amazon. It was a once in a lifetime experience for us and I can’t recommend it enough. You do 2 experiences a day, however the order of it can vary. Seeing animals is not guaranteed and we unfortunately did not see many. The best activity although challenging was spending the night in the jungle, although I came out eaten alive by mosquitos Jefferson our guide made it a great experience and one I’ll not soon forget. The only criticism would be the time spent waiting around in the lodge for activities as I think more could be fitted in.

The hik was pure primeval beauty; I saw so many beautiful flowers, trees, and fungi. The stunning waterfalls were also warm, pleasant and fun to splash about in. Our guides were kind and knowledgable.

My Guide was very knowledgeable about the sites we did see, especially the opera house.

The walk in the rainforest was very nice. It could have been longer.
