Christ the Redeemer Entry Ticket by Corcovado Train

Christ the Redeemer Entry Ticket by Corcovado Train

Go all the way up to the iconic statue of Christ the Redeemer by the Corcovado Train. The train rides through a railway inside Tijuca National Park, the largest urban forest in the world, making a unique view over Rio de Janeiro city. Enjoy an amazing ride on a train that takes you right up to the foot of the statue of The Christ, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World and one of the most famous sights in Brazil. Besides admiring one of the most beautiful landscapes of the city, you will take a walk through Brazil's history. The Corcovado Railroad was the first electrified railroad in Brazil. Inaugurated in 1884 by D. Pedro II, it is older than Christ the Redeemer itself. In fact, it was the train that, during four consecutive years, transported pieces for monument’s construction. Your visit starts on the century-old electric locomotive, riding across the preserved Atlantic Forest, part of the Tijuca National Park. At the foot of the statue of Christ, you'll be able to take in the most beautiful view over the city, and see from above what makes Rio de Janeiro so special.

Eduardo is super friendly, and the transportation was more than professional and comfortable. The route we took was wonderful, the waterfalls, the cave, the sounds of the forest. We saw the monkeys, he explained the birds we saw, and he stopped at all the viewpoints to let us observe Rio's breathtaking landscapes and take photos if we wanted. I recommend it 100%, I would definitely do it again!!!

All of the class was amazing, the chef was Flavio and with help from Vania! He explained all of the dishes and answered the questions we had, even things about Rio! Not just cooking, the group was small so the vibe was amazing even though location was changed due to unexpected weather. The meal at the end was delicious and they provided all the recipes!! You can also choose when you get hands on and are actively encouraged to take part in the cooking process so don’t be shy, it’s for everyone to learn! Thank you for an amazing experience, I can’t wait to make the food at home!

The tour was super informative. It was also super adventurous, which we love, especially hiking, climbing, and waterfalls... just being close to nature. Our guide Eric was super accommodating and had an answer for every question. He also showed us beautiful viewpoints, and sometimes we could feel the peace and quiet. We were both very excited and glad that we booked this tour 🥰😊😄
