Enjoy a guided tour of one of Barcelona’s most iconic buildings on a guided tour of the Modernist Palau de la Música Catalana. Benefit from exclusive access to areas that are normally off-limits and admire the grand architecture and intricate details of the building as you learn about its history.

Start your tour in the Rehearsal Hall of the Orfeó Catala, where the foundation stone was laid in 1905, and where the choir rehearses regularly as it has done for more than 100 years.
Continue to the grand staircase to marvel at the ornate flowers and flags, built using a range of materials.

Next, visit the Lluís Millet Hall and glimpse the large balcony with columns that symbolize nature. Finally, be dazzled by an explosion of colors, shapes, and light as you enter the Concert Hall. Head to the 2nd floor and admire the grand skylight.

Finally, enjoy a short performance from the Palau’s organ to conclude your tour.

The tour meeting point is behind the coffee shop as you walk straight through the main entrance or come around through the side where there is outdoor seating to a restaurant. The guide was thorough and fantastic - I unfortunately cannot remember his name but he spoke clearly, checked in with everyone, and gave us ample time to take in the beautiful palace.

We spotted the location on our way to meet for a different tour and decided to check it out the next day. I cannot believe we almost missed this as it has been one of the highlights of our visit to Barcelona. Our guide Axel was very knowledgeable and engaging and we went on a day where we were lucky enough to get a demo of the organ and stand on the stage. It is a beautiful building with so much history and influence in all the little details. An absolute must see for any fan of the performing arts. 100/10!
