The real Chiang Rai experience — one of the highlights of our trip. Trekking through the lush hills, rice paddies, and bamboo forests felt like stepping into a postcard of rural Thailand. Our guide Chai was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. We also loved meeting his partner June and their kid — it made the day feel even more special. We did the medium-level hike (we’re a couple in our 30s) which started off challenging, but the views made it worth every step. The day included three separate treks, each with its own charm, ending with a delicious lunch on the mountain. We went in June, during low season, so it felt like a private experience. They offer various routes based on fitness level — if you have mobility issues, definitely let them know in advance, as parts of the trail can be uneven. From panoramic vistas to quiet forest paths, it was an unforgettable, epic experience. 100% recommended.

The excursion was awesome and super fun! Our guide Thor was really knowledgeable and entertaining, and he spoke English too. We had a great time hiking in the woods outside Chiang Rai, visiting amazing places surrounded by nature, villages, and waterfalls, pineapple plantations, and more. The group was friendly, and the whole experience was really enjoyable.

The whole trip was a great experience. The guides were lovely, funny, and very informative. The waterfall was beaufitul and the bamboo cooking was delicious. The hiking part is not too hard and possible for beginners. We had great fun!

Thoroughly enjoyable day trekking up and down tracks, some you’d miss if you weren’t guided. Chai was really good, pointing out various fruits, berries, trees and explaining how to find water in bamboo. He was supported by two others who were also good fun. The bamboo cooked meal was good and again really interesting to understand how it was all cooked on the open fire. A visit to a couple of waterfalls on the trek and going through some hill tribe villages, all a great experience. The trekking did require a level of fitness and agility as some of the slopes were steep and rocky. We really enjoyed it.

Amazing, entertaining, little challenging so if you have motion problems I wouldnt recommend, you will struggle. There are areas that are slippery and steep. If you’re moderately fit 100% recommend it was one of the best tours I dod in Thailand. The waterfall is beautiful, the way in the jungle was entertaining and educative. The guides love what they do. Bamboo lunch is actually delicious and it was a nice view to the jungle kitchen and life. I would do it again, absolutely worth the money.
