Slow boat to Luangprabang Day 1: Chiang Rai to Pakbeng (Free Breakfast, big Sanwich and bottle of water) Start your journey with a pickup from your hotel in Chiang Rai at 05.00 - 05.30 am. Head to Chiang Khong and cross the friendship bridge. Then board a public slow boat down the Mekong River to Pakbeng. Spend the night in Pakbeng. :) Day 2: Pakbeng to Luang Prabang Take a slow boat to Luang Prabang.
