Full description
Standing majestically over the Florence skyline, the Palazzo Vecchio is one of the most recognized symbols of the city. Built during the Middle Ages, it still preserves the austere architecture of the 14th century, and provides the highest viewpoint in the city from Brunelleschi’s Dome. Enter the elegant courtyard by Michelozzo, and admire the beautiful “Hall of the 500.” See an intimate study of Francesco I de’ Medici, as well as the private apartments of Eleonora of Toledo and Cosimo I de’ Medici. Explore the extravagant boardrooms with their stunning frescoes, paintings, and statues of the greatest Renaissance artists, such as Michelangelo, Donatello, Verrocchio, Vasari, Ghirlandaio, and Bronzino. Enhance your experience with innovative walking tours on two guided circuits with professional guides, as they bring the city alive with fascinating storytelling and anecdotes. Learn about the powerful Medici familny, discover the places where they lived in the San Lorenzo neighborhood and be fascinated by the beauty of the Cathedral, the Brunelleschi Dome and the Giotto Bell Tower. Explore the medieval quarter of the city, seeing Piazza della Signoria, the Ponte Vecchio and the Oltrarno Neighborhood with Palazzo Pitti. Very impressive

I am very happy that we chose the tour. Apart from bypassing the long queue, our guide's explanations were extremely interesting and were conveyed in a humorous way. The painting of the dome is exceptional, it could (and may also) stand there for hours. The view from the top is fantastic, the ascent is good with average fitness despite the heat.

      A great professional guide

We thought the tour was in Spanish, anyway between our English and desire to put the guide with their buenisimas explanations compensó.Otra time please stay clear language that is going to give or if possible that this is offered in two languages, the guide helps us a bit because he speaks perfect Spanish, but English speakers do not seem to like to share them with the guías..cosas of false moral superiority ...

      A little disappointing

There's more history to hear than really what to see. It's worth the Machiavelli Mask. The guide left us after the Palace ended and did not take us the battlements! Left the group for those who want to climb the tower and left. Very hot inside the Palacio in the summer time, very stuffy, without adequate air circulation or conditioning. I found it a little disappointing.
