This tour was excellent and so was our guide Brigette. She knew a lot of history and shared with us. She also told us the best places to eat and I took her suggestion to have oysters. They were the best oysters I have ever had in my life! The tour gives you all of the high points of Normandy and reminds you of events that no one should ever forget. The bus was very comfortable and the driver was excellent on those small roads. This tour was a great value for the money and I have already recommended it to friends. Take this tour, you will not be sorry.

The trip was wonderful. We brought breakfast due to the early departure but there was a break at a great gas/grocery. Clean bathrooms, beverage machines and wide variety of snacks and pastries. Our guide Steve was fun & informative. He suggested we take sand from the beaches. Luckily we had a plastic bag with us! We stopped for lunch at Arromanches with many options and even bought little jars for our sand that had the beach names. The American Cemetery was beautiful and peaceful. Standing in these historic places was awe inspiring and humbling. Strongly suggest everyone take the trip, it is worth the 3 hour drive!

We really enjoyed this day! While we DID get to visit several sites, some were just too quick of stops (15 minutes at one, 45 at the American Cemetery) - to really soak in the place we could have used more time, even if that meant one less visit. We could have done without the lengthy convenient stops instead. The bus did not have a working bathroom or wi-fi, both of which would have been nice. The speakers were not super easy to hear from, and folks were talking over the guide at times. Overall the information was great, the experience is one we would recommend to others! Afterward it did feel like a lot of money for what we got out of the day compared to other tours, but still glad we had a way to get out to Normandie while in Paris. Thanks!
