In this full-day tour from Le Havre port -town you will be picked up and dropped off at your convenient time with fresh coffee and croissants. You'll spend a full-day on the Normandy WWII sites. First, you'll be in Ste Mère Eglise, the iconic village of the US Airborne, to understand how 14000 paratroopers played a crucial role in preparing the success of this day. You'll visit the Airborne Museum where your guide will explain you in the utmost details the exhibit. Then, you'll head for the hedgerow country where you'll see these terribles natural fences where so many German soldiers could hide and kill during the battle of Normandy. On Utah beach, your guide will explain you why this beach could be so quickly and successfully taken. You'll then enjoy a gourmet lunch on Omaha Beach facing the monument to the Allies, where your guide will explain you in details the battle which took place there 77 years ago. After lunch you'll head for the Pointe du Hoc where you'll see many of the German WWII bunkers taken by the US 2nd Rangers Battalion. Finally, at the Normandy American Cemetery, you'll have to time to visit the site and the Memorial before attending the ceremony of the colors. If time allows you'll also see the Longues sur Mer battery, the last WWII German battery, whose big 150mm guns where shooting on D-Day. 07:30 We pick You up at your hotel entrance door. The trip begins. There are 360 km to drive on a highway from Paris to Mont Saint-Michel. It takes 4 to 4,5 hours. After approx. 1,5 hours a short stop at a rest area for coffee break will be made. 10:00 - 11:00 Honfleur walking tour with its famous old harbour. Honfleur - the main defensive port of Normandy of the XV century, transformed into a charming resort town with a picturesque Bay, much-loved by the artists of the XIX century. Honfleur was first mentioned in 1027, when it belonged to the Norman Duke Richard III. The owners of the city changed several times during The Hundred Years ' War. In the XV century, there were French pirates - corsairs who ravaged the English coast. A little later, in the XVII—XVIII centuries, the city became significantly rich in trade with the American colonies. After the port was closed, the city's economy declined and Honfleur became a suburb of Le Havre. Today it is one of the most known tourist cities in Normandy. The walking city tour takes about 1 hour. 11:00 Departure destination Mont Saint-Michel. It takes 2 hours 15 minutes (190 km). 13:15 - 17:15 Visit of the island and of the Abbey of Mont Saint-Michel. As a rule we manage to join the Guided visit organised by the local Abbey's guides. Otherwise we provide audio-guides for the Abbey visit. On the top of the Island, you can admire panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and bay. First settled by man in the year 709 it contains Medieval village & beautiful Abbey fortress dedicated to Saint Michael the Archangel. The construction of the Benedictine Abbey started in the 700’s and continued through the 1200s. It remains practically the same since the Middle Ages as it was the goal of pilgrims from all over the world. Mont Saint Michel remains the most visited site in France. After the Abbey visit You'll have free time to enjoy Mont Saint-Michel city. 17:15 Departure from Mont Saint-Michel to Paris. The back ride will take about 4 hours. One stop at the rest area will be made. 21:00 to 21:30 Coming back to Paris. Drop off at your hotel.

The driver will pick you up at Le Havre port. You will enjoy the trip to the mysterious and historical Mont Saint Michelle in Normandy with our attentive and professional driver who will comfortably take you along the route. Upon arrival you will have about 5 hours to observe magnificent place of Mont Saint Michelle, the architecture and the nature around. If you wish the driver will recommend you a nice place for dining on the spot. After the tour the driver will comfortably bring you back to Le Havre port.
