What people are saying about Le Havre

We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to the D-Day sites out of Le Havre. This tour covered the major D-Day sites, with plenty of time to linger and absorb the enormity of the event. Being a student of history, I appreciated the interactive and conversational style brought by our guid, Bertrand. He was very knowledgeable about both the “book facts” of D-Day, and also the impact it had on French culture and society - something of which I was very curious. We came away with a deeper appreciation of the sacrifices made by both soldiers and civilians alike.

I was worried based on a week priors review, however, I was pleasantly surprised. Our bus felt brand new, our driver was very interactive, and our guide was amazing! The pastry stop at the Eiffel Tower was also a hit with our crew. Great trip overall!

The trip was well paced and Matthew gave us a lot of good information in a understandable and interesting way. The bottled water, box lunch and champagne were appreciated!

It was an excellent experience. The lady guide was wonderful. She knew a lot of history from France. I was happy to be there one more time.

We had an amazing time and our guide Kat was very knowledgeable. We got to do quite a bit in the short time we had in Paris.
