What people are saying about Sawai Madhopur

The highlight of our trip was seeing the Taj Mahal, guided by Farhan. He was respectful, knowledgeable, kind, explained things slowly and clearly, took amazing, unusual pictures which highlighted quirky details and the symmetry of the monuments serving as our backdrop. Unlike all the other guides on the tour, he did not take us to places where we would be inevitably harassed into buying stuff. We are especially grateful to Tanveer, our driver, who was consistently reliable, polite, attentive, and made the very best efforts to drive us from place to place carefully and on time. It was such a pleasure to see his friendly and welcoming face after every excursion, and he made us feel safe and extremely well looked-after every single day. His vehicle was clean, he gave us plenty of water and checked in with us to see if we needed rest stops and so on. He deserves all of our praise and we are happy for any other travellers who’ll be escorted by him on their tours, he is a real gem.

It was my first trip to India and since we were limited in time, we decided on this tour. We liked the whole tour, lots of information and lots to see, all accompanied by tour guides. But the best thing was our driver Madan, who always accompanied us, was always very concerned, caring and helpful. He was always there 15 minutes before the agreed pick-up time and always tried to keep the car clean so that we were happy and even though his English is not completely fluent, we got on brilliantly. We were blown away by the warmth and friendliness of Madan, who became a good friend in such a short time. At this point I must mention that as a tourist you like to be taken to the tourist shops because of course you can smell the money. And you shouldn't necessarily factor in the tip, in my opinion especially for the driver who does most of the work.

overall we were very satisfied with our trip. with hindsight we would have booked our own hotels as I feel we may have got better value for money. the best hotel was the Tiger Den Retreat in Ranthambore. The tiger safaris are quite long so do not book under the impression they will be short trips. But it was worth it although no tigers were seen. I was disappointed in the Jaipur tour as the guide did not even mention the Birla Temple or a visit to it in the evening. our guides for the Delhi tour and the Agra tours were both great. special mention to our driver Tanveer who needs had the pleasure of spending 5 days with. He was on time, courteous and importantly, safe. Although aspects of this trip disappointed me, they are minor gripes and overall I would recommend this tour and definitely recommend Fame India Tours. thank you.

A great experience with my family. We were able to see the most important sights such as the Taj Mahal. Our guides were all super friendly, professional and were able to convey their knowledge very well. Our driver Sarfarazkhan was not only extremely friendly and professional but also helped us a lot in a special situation to make our experience a special one.

This was the perfect way to see the sights of the golden triangle route
