Baia di Conca dei Marini

Welcome aboard your kayak for an enchanting journey along the beautiful Amalfi Coast, where each paddle will lead you to discover natural and historical treasures. After a brief illustration of the itinerary and a short introductory lesson on navigation and safety at sea, we will be ready to set sail westward, towards "Baia di Conca dei Marini." The route will take us along Amalfi’s finest beaches as well as close to natural rock arches and into sea caves, giving us the opportunity to admire the old watch towers that dot the entire length of this coast. Not too far from the starting point, you'll kayak by the "Arc of Lovers", a natural rock arch created by sea and wind erosion, whose shape and legend have made it one of the most romantic places on the coast. A little further on we will skirt the luxurious villa of Sofia Loren and thus arrive at the bay east of the seaside village of Conca dei Marini. Inside the basin we will have an excellent view of the Santa Rosa Monastery, a former convent renovated into a luxury hotel and the birthplace of the delicious dessert "Sfogliatella Santa Rosa." Sailing around the promontory of Capo di Conca we will glimpse an ancient Sighting Tower, evidence of a past coastal defense. After an exciting morning of exploration we will stop to snorkel in a quiet bay and relax while enjoying a snack of fresh fruit, restoring mind and body. Continuing our journey on the way back, through this stretch of sea, we will finally reach a fascinating natural “Sant’Andrea Sea Cave”, the largest sea cave on the entire Amalfi coast and the only one with a walkable beach inside.

Embark on a luxury cruise from Salerno along the gorgeous Amalfi Coast. Throughout the tour, enjoy several stops to swim in the clear waters. As soon as you leave the port of Positano, have a look to the countryside and marvel at the thousand colours emerging from the lush green of the coast. We will slowly sail along the coast, admiring the natural landscape changing and highlighting its green and white color, from the top of the mountain to the white and wonderful cliffs overlooking the sea. After a few minutes sailing you will see Montepertuso, Arienzo, Nocelle and Vettica Maggiore, then you will meet the first fascinating spot: the Scoglio dell’Isca, a superb rock in a bewitching setting, the ideal place for the first dive and for an exciting snorkelling experience. Time to admire Praiano! Look at the beautiful coastline, there is an ancient and very characteristic fishing village, capable of blending some luxury villas with its authentic origin. If you wish you can get some free time in Praiano, to visit its small historic center, with the romanic church of San Gennaro. Get ready to enjoy the thrilling Fjord of Furore, one of the most enchanting places on the whole Amalfi coast. This place was declared Unesco heritage in 1997, together with the entire Amalfi Coast, it’s an unbelievable location, where the sea meets a river creating a charming and unique scenery. There’s another stop you can enjoy before spending some hours in Amalfi, the Emerald Grotto, nearby the Baia di Conca dei Marini, one of the gems of the Amalfi Coast. The name of the grotto represents the intense green color of its waters. It is possible to visit the grotto inside with a boat approximately (from 9.30 am to 4 pm), and discover its fantastic stalagmites, but you will have to buy the entrance ticket (7,00 € per person). After the visit, enjoy a drink on the way back to Positano!
