1. Medellín: Botanical Garden and Comuna 4 Tour with Museum
There are many ways of exploring Medellín, but getting to know Comuna 4, one of the places with more transformation and history in the city, and the wonderful botanic garden by the hand of one of our professional tour guides is at another level. This tour starts at your hotel, when the guide picks you up at the hotel. From there you will be taken near Antioquia University. This area is one of the high activity zones of the city, as it counts with Deseos Park, Explora Park, Aventura Mall, Ruta N, Bosque Plaza mall and Botanical Garden, and it demarks the limits of Comuna 4. After having walked outside, you will access to the Botanical Garden to switch into a totally natural environment where you could find lots of trees, paths, animals and a lake where you could feed some ducks. Being out you will be facing Carabobo street, which interconnects downtown and Comuna 4. Here you will start wandering around the streets of Moravia, one of the neighborhoods that belongs to this comuna. Moravia is one of the neighborhoods that generates more impact due to its amazing and unexpected transformation. Along the tour you will know its sad past, its promising future, its streets and people, and furthermore, its amazing viewpoint from the top of the hill. After having come down from the hill you will drink a nice fresh juice at a local store. Then, you will head to Aranjuez neighborhood, and just some blocks away from here you will find Madre Laura's Bridge, the largest urban bridge in Colombia, with some graffiti art exposed in it as well. Keep walking a little bit more and then let the driver takes you back safely to your hotel.
