DAY 1. You will arrive to Buenaventura a day before of the whales watching tour and will enjoy the Cosmos hotel, the city port and its food. The recommendation for you is to have lunch or dinner at Cafe Pacifico, walk the boulevard and then rest in the hotel to get up early in the morning. DAY 2. After breakfast at your hotel you should be at the pier office at 7:15 am to get your boat tickets and at 8:00 am your boat will depart to Juanchaco, an authentic fishing village on the Colombian Pacific coast. By 9:00 am you will arrive at the Juanchaco tourist pier where PIO will be waiting for you to give you the instructions to take another small boat to the whales watching tour. The tour was great!!! Our tour guide Julian was very attentive and informative. He let us take breaks as needed and even took pictures. I recommend this tour very much! You not only get good exercise, but you get to see breathtaking views of the mountains and the waterfalls. Andres, the coordinator, was very helpful as he made sure that everything was set up. He was also very responsive in case we had any questions.

Gabriel was very knowledgeable and friendly. We got to visit several parts of the city and learn of its people and history. We were only in Cali for two days and I would definitely recommend you do this tour. The meeting point was easy to find.
