Meet your local guide at the Old Fort Point Parking Lot, located just 3 km outside the Jasper town site. The meeting point is a 5-minute drive from Jasper. Head south on Hazel Avenue then turn left at Old Fort point Road, continue to parking lot. Park at the parking lot just passed the bridge.

Know before you go

- The hike is rated by Parks Canada as intermediate as it does have some steep sections, but it should be doable if you are stable on your feet, can walk 5 KM and up a few flights of stairs
- Food cannot be selected, as part of the fun is not knowing what you'll eat
