This fantastic day tour from Bilbao is highly recommended. Ideal meeting point in the morning in front of the Guggenheim Museum. We (Spanish group led by Laura and English group led by Miguel) were driven to Bakio in a very comfortable bus. On a great short hike (approx. 40 minutes) with a sensational (photo) view, we approached San Jaun de Gaztelugatxe step by step. Simply wonderful: the sea, the islands, the museum church. A shorter but steeper route brought us back to the bus. Destination: San Sebastián. A short walk from the bus terminal into the old town with lots of information about the history took us to the kiosk at 2 p.m. - meeting point for everyone at 5 p.m. So we had 3 hours of free time in San Sebastián. That was great, of course. We visited the Castello Sacro Cuore, the church at the foot of it and the cathedral. A cold beer on this early summer day in April (27°) on the beach and a walk rounded off the great day.

From start to finish this tour was amazing. Our guide Imanol was absolutely wonderful. A very informative, friendly and helpful young man. San Sebastian is a truly beautiful city. La Concha Beach and the Old Town was lovely. So enjoyed our Pintxos lunch with the local wines. Absolutely delicious. Our next stop was the quaint fishing village of Getaria. Just beautiful. We truly enjoyed seeing SAN Sebastian and Getaria. So glad we choose this tour. So worth it.
