Know before you go
- The Mesa Verde National Park has a high elevation, frequent temperature changes, and intense sun; it is highly recommended to bring sunscreen and water
- Since you are going to be gone for more than 3 hours, it is recommended that you walk to the meeting point from your hotel if you are staying nearby; if you are not able to walk to the meeting point, it is advisable to purchase a $7.50 parking pass from the Transit Center or purchase a parking pass at 724 Main Avenue
