Lake Bled is often mentioned as the pearl of the Slovenian Alpine region due to its emerald-green waters, picture-perfect postcard church on the island, medieval castle on the rocky cliff, and some of the highest peaks of the Slovenian Alps as the background. Take a short walk along the lakeshore as the beauty of the surrounding mountains reflects off the lake surface. No matter the season, you'll enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the lake and the fresh mountain air.  Perched atop a steep cliff more than 100 meters above the lake, Bled Castle is the iconic image of a medieval fortress, with towers, ramparts, moats and a terrace offering magnificent views. The castle houses a unique treasure - a reconstruction of Gutenberg's wooden printing press, on which the master printer will demonstrate old printing techniques using hand-made paper. Take the Pletna boat, a traditional boat known only to this region, to the tiny tear-shaped island on the lake. Upon returning from the island, stop at the local patisserie and taste Bled’s famous cream cake, kremšnita. In the last 60 years they have sold as many as 12 million of these cakes - they are definitely a can't-miss and a perfect way to top off your day. In the summer you can take bathing suits with you, to take a dip in the lake. Please be advised that due to the the winter season and the shorter daylight hours, a portion of our tour may be conducted after dark. Additionally, participants should be aware that the Pletna boat ride might not be available during our afternoon tours because of their winter schedule. Depart Zagreb in the morning and head to the capital city of Slovenia to take a guided tour of the old city center of Ljubljana. See some of the finest works by the architect Jože Plečnik. Marvel at the Baroque and Art Nouveau buildings, before experiencing the local vibe and discovering where the residents buy their food. Hear why Napoleon was one of the city's most popular politicians, why Slovenia lives with love in its name, and how the iconic Triple Bridge got its name. Have free time to explore the hidden spots on your own. Continue to the Alpine resort of Bled, take in the spectacular views from panoramic drive around the lake and then board on a traditional boat (Pletna) to reach the only true island in Slovenia. Ring the fortune bell and soak up the sun and fresh mountain air before going to the old castle perched on top of a steep cliff above the lake. The Bled castle is the oldest castle in Slovenia and it also offers the oldest traditional cake in the region. The Bled Cream cake, which goes perfect with the view from the the top of the castle terrace. Afterwards in the evening we will depart back to Zagreb. After a long day of traveling you will be dropped off at your initial location.

Enjoy Bled, or the “Image of Paradise,” which has been attracting visitors with its breathtaking beauty for centuries. The calm and inviting waters of its lake spurred the tradition of making the typical ‘pletna’ boats back in the 12th century.  Optionally you can board one of these wooden beauties to reach the island, with its romantic church and mysterious wishing bell. Sightseeing in Bled continues with a visit to the impressive castle, perched on a cliff high above the lake. Step back time in its museum and enjoy the unforgettable view of the surroundings. The picturesque lakeside boasts the frescoes of the Church of St. John the Baptist. You will have time to discover the legend of Zlatorog (Goldhorn), enjoy a stunning view over Mount Triglav, and try the hearty local cuisine.  Take your bathing suit with you in the summer and take a late dip in the lake.

Get familiar with the itinerary for the day, as well as information about the sites you are visiting and the general history of Croatia and Slovenia. Arrive at Ljubljana. On your arrival, your guide will take you on a orientational walking tour around the city center. Besides seeing many historical buildings and monuments you will climb up with funicular to the 13th-century medieval fortress, a symbol of the Slovenian capital Ljubljana. There, you can see spectacular views of the town and Alp mountains in the distance. Gain a deeper understanding of the city's landmarks and more confidence to navigate on your own for the next 2 hours of your free time. Continue to the Alpine resort of Bled. There is so much to do at Bled, especially during the tourist season (April to October). It is impossible to see and experience everything in one afternoon, this is why your guide will help you organise time according to your preferences. Go for a swim at the lake, ride a bicycle, sail on traditional Pletna boat to the Bled Island, explore the Bled castle or just simply go for a stroll, sit at one of many bars located by the lake and enjoy traditional Bled cream cake, be hypnotized by the views of Lake Bled, surrounded by stoic mountains. Make yourself comfortable and enjoy a scenic ride back to Zagreb.

Meet in central Bled to begin your self-guided e-bike experience to Vintgar Gorge. After a brief orientation session, set off to explore the stunning landscape around Vintgar Gorge. Upon arrival walk through the gorge and make a circle back to the your e-bike. There is a demanding hiking involved and will take 2 - 3 hours for walking and hiking in the Gorge. Avoid the traffic, parking, and queues, and soak in the views of the rolling countryside and the beautiful nature of the area. With the e-bike propelling you up hills, enjoy the views without breaking a sweat.
