Full description

Explore the snow-capped mountains of Jungfraujoch, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site since 2007 for its stunning High Alps scenery, and as the site of Europe’s largest glacier and highest train station.

Take a scenic coach journey along the Brünig Pass and the shores of Lake Brienz to the Bernese Oberland. After a break in Interlaken, board the cable car at the Grindelwald Terminal for a spectacular 15-minute ride to the Eiger Glacier by gondola.

Change to a cogwheel train that will take you to the peak of Jungfraujoch. Enjoy stunning views of the triple peaks of Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau as you ride. Immerse yourself in the High-Alpine wonderland of ice, snow, and rock at the top.

Experience the adventure tour “Alpine Sensation,” marking the 100-year anniversary of the Jungfrau Railway. Visit the Sphinx Observation Terrace and Plateau for the most breathtaking views of the Aletsch Glacier.

Stroll through the tunnels of the Ice Palace in the heart of the glacier for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Descend via the car-free resort of Wengen to Lauterbrunnen, where your coach will be waiting for your return transfer to Zurich.

An amazing trip and well worth the money, I would recommend this to anyone. The guide was great, the coach ride so much easier than figuring out all the trains and connections yourself. Like all of Switzerland, the scenery is breathtaking but the food is appalling! Tip, buy a sandwich at the Grindewald station as the food in the restaurants at the top is awful and very expensive.

Aside from the places we visited, it was the people we met along the journey that made this wonderful experience more memorable. Special thanks to Eduardo & Ximena for a wonderful and very informative tour. Ms. Amanda from the "Best of Switzerland" office was amazing for providing me guidelines when I experienced a minor hiccup while on tour. The local partner handled all my concerns with utmost professionalism and kindness. I highly recommend this tour to everyone visiting Switzerland. Again, my sincerest Thank you to all the people who made our day tour special.

It was a life time experience to visit Jungfraujoch. When we started from Zurich as early as 8AM we were worried about the weather which was totally unpredictable but when we reached the summit it was a wonderful experience. There was clear sun shine. The glacier was clearly visible . The visit yo sphinx, platue , Ice palace, glacier will never be forgotten. We enjoyed the cable car ride .it is worth mentioning that the Guide was fully conversant with the history of the areas which made our visit completely hassle free and thoroughly enjoyable.
