Wonderful Introduction to Zurich

We arrived in town and booked this city tour to fill some free time in the afternoon. It’s 2 hours long but the traffic for the 3:30 tour is bad so we ended up closer to 3 hours. Verena was our city guide. She did a great job explaining the various areas of the city. There are three stops on this tour. we opted to leave the tour at the final stop which was closer to the lake and walk back. Given the time Verena made great recommendations on which side of the river to walk and where to find the best restaurants. I recommend this 2 hour tour to get a good feel for the city. Wonderful experience.

Good but shortened due to traffic problems

The tour was generally good and the guide excellent. However, it was a public holiday elsewhere which meant people were coming to Zurich to shop; this caused tremendous traffic problems, meaning we did not have time to stop and walk around the Old Town (which was a planned part of the tour). This was very disappointing and something we'd been looking forward to. The guide knew about this so surely on this day the company could have planned (before accepting bookings) for the tour to last 15-20 minutes longer which would have meant it was not cut short.

Great introduction to the city of Zurich

We booked this tour once we had arrived in Zurich and we were looking for a quick introduction to the highlights of the city. This was the perfect tour for us, very comfortable touring bus and smooth driving, very knowledgeable tour guide. We had a couple of stops along the way which allowed us to stretch and get a closer look at the harbor, ride the cable car and finally the old village. After the tour, we went back to the Konshaus which the guide has mentioned, and we were tremendously impressed by the museum's collection. So very glad to have learned about it from the tour.
