We enjoyed the wonderful day trip to Lucerne and Mount Titlis with our guide Angela and driver Carlos. Angela was a wonderful guide and did a great job tirelessly describing everything in English and Spanish for our group. Mount Titlis is not to be missed - a breathtaking view awaits you at the top after a series of gondola rides. Highly recommend lunch at the seated restaurant with a server. The food was very good - especially for a “tourist” destination. Definitely try to walk on the Cliff’s Walk and do the tubing. A great day trip from Zurich!

Full description
Departing from Zurich, enjoy a scenic drive along the shores of Lake Lucerne en route to the city of Lucerne. Along the way, your tour guide will highlight the city's most notable landmarks and include a photo stop at either the Lion Monument or the lakeside, depending on traffic conditions.
Afterward, enjoy some free time to explore Lucerne on your own. From there, continue the journey to Engelberg. The breathtaking ride up into the high alpine glaciers of Mount Titlis begins here. From the Rotair revolving cable car on your way up to the mountain, get spectacular views of the deep crevasses in the glaciers, and the immense chunks of ice that break off in spectacular fashion.
Enjoy incredible views over the Swiss Alps from the Panorama Restaurant on top of Mount Titlis. Visit the Ice Grotto, or take the Ice Flyer chairlift to get up close to the glaciers at an altitude of over 9,800 feet (3,000 meters). Adventure seekers can slide through the snow and down the mountainside on a snow tube (weather permitting) – the choice is yours.

Your tour departs from Zurich Sihlquai Bus Station near Zurich HB (main train station). Follow track 18 (last track on street level) until the road turns right. Follow the road for 50 meters and find the Zurich Sihlquai Bus Station across from Starbucks. By public transport take tram 4, 6, or 13 to the stop Sihlquai/HB. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure to check in at the counter of “Best of Switzerland Tours.” Please ensure you bring a valid ID and have the QR code on your printed or digital voucher ready for scanning.
