From Zürich, take a scenic coach journey through the beautiful countryside and along the Lake of the Four Cantons to Lucerne. See the main sights of this charming town. Enjoy some time at leisure to explore the old town before continuing to Kriens. Take the panoramic gondolas and aerial cableway to the summit of Mt. Pilatus (7000ft / 2132m). At the peak, a mystical, white-winter paradise awaits you with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and lakes! Warm up in the self-service restaurant Bellevue on top of Mt.     Meet at the Sihlquai parking lot, opposite the Zurich Central Train Station. Follow track 18 until the road turns to the right. Follow this bend for about 55 yards (50 meters). From there, you will easily see the parking lot. Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes prior to the tour departure time. Identification is required, please remember to bring a valid piece of ID.

    • Please note that this tour only runs during the winter season. Over the summer an alternative “Golden Round Trip” tour is offered
    • The tour is accompanied from Zürich to Kriens and from Lucerne to Zürich. For your individual ascent and descent at Mt. Pilatus and the public bus ride back to Lucerne you will receive tickets and a written itinerary

    It was a truly special experience to be on Mt. Titlis (We were told on arrival that as we were the only 2 doing the Mt. Pilatus tour, that we should pay extra and rather do the Mt. Titlis instead. We only found out on the mountain that this did not include lunch though.) Unfortunately we were left behind from the group (as we all had to take seperate cable cars to get up), and coincidently got off too early and ended up getting lost and a bit frustrated before we managed to eventually get help and get where we were supposed to be, albeit a bit unsure, and had to wing it. There also could of been more of a show-round/ guided version of Lucerne, instead of wandering around by ourselves after guide left us, and not being sure what we were looking at.

    Unbelievably beautiful!

    This trip was amazing. We stopped in Lucerne, a gorgeous city that deserves a visit all on its own. From there the bus and tour guide dropped us at the bottom of Pilatus (The guide and other bus passengers were continuing onto another excursion further away and would be picking us up on the way back.) We were given cable car tickets, a meal voucher, and a bus ticket to get back to lucerne to meet the bus and head back to Zurich. The mountain was beautiful, there was food at the top if you were hungry, and once we saw it all we headed back down the mountain to grab the bus back to Lucerne. Top tip: if you want to have your same seats on the bus as you had coming to the excursion, leave some non-essential personal items to save your place. The guide repeated many times it was safe to leave items on the bus.
