This was a great excursion for the day! I got to see more parts of Switzerland than I would have ever been able to see on my own, and the Swiss countryside is truly magical. Lake Lungern and Interlaken were beautiful. Staubbach Falls was impressive from the ground though the short hike up the cliffside wasn’t really worth it. The big highlights for me were Geissbach Falls and Grindelwald. Geissbach Falls included a short hike through a lovely wooded area with a path under the waterfall. Grindelwald is nestled in the Bernese Alps with just breathtaking views of the mountains, including the Eiger. The town itself was adorable but very touristy. I paid the extra 72 Swiss francs for the cable car to a higher view and the cliff walk. I’m glad I did; it was great to get that different view and to experience the freezing temperatures at the top from the warm weather below. Restaurant and gift shop at the top, too! Guide Alvaro was prompt, informative, great with a camera and a skilled driver!
