Full description
As you travel towards the Rhine Falls in northern Switzerland on this coach trip, you’ll pass through the charming farming village of Marthalen, with its traditional frame houses. You’ll also see the 16th-century Munot Fortress and the area’s renowned vineyards. The highlight of the trip will undoubtedly be the sight of the Rhine Falls. This natural feature is located on the Upper Rhine River and has been around since the Ice Age. During the summer you can take an optional boat ride to the middle of the falls, at the heart of the cascading waters, and enjoy the magnificent spectacle from the viewing platforms. Alternatively, you can enjoy a leisurely hour on the banks of the river. The return journey takes you over the border to southern Germany for a short stretch. Back in Zurich, you’ll be dropped off in the city center. A multi-lingual guide leads the excursion. The tour is a great way to start or end your vacation.

My trip to Rhine Falls was very nice and beautiful, through out the journey it was time spent well with the scenic nature, driving through the roads between the farm and seeing beautiful village houses on the way. The Rhine Falls was very good. I wished if little more time in the tour was possible to spend time with the nature falls.

Beautiful 1st time!

Booked this excursion just to take up time during an extended flight layover, and was very impressed with the attention and details that were provided by Carolyn (I might have spelled that wrong). The tour was scenic and informative, my family took plenty of pictures and made equally remarkable memories. Best part of the tour was the boat ride at the falls...we thought the boat operator was going to drive up the falls. The kids can't stop talking about that part!

Enjoyed it.

Olga was very friendly and informative. Tour was enjoyable just we ended up paying for the boat trip in Euros and didn’t get change, this in our currency made the tour cost a bit more. We would have liked the choice to take the ferry to the middle part so that you can go up the steps for that view.
