Really enjoyed ourselves. The only issue we had involved the keeper talks. We could not find the locations for them and could not easily locate a zoo employee to help. One of the maintenance staff tried to assist and another person talked to us about the alpacas- stating they had a staff meeting and there would be no talk that day. We appreciated her taking time with us to talk about the alpacas. Maybe there could be a way to let people know of the talk locations or any changes in the schedule.

Took my granddaughter. Lots of families out so felt safe. Parking was a bit of a challenge as no sign that you should know your lisence plate until at pay station. Docents were awesome at elephant exhibit. These are natural exhibits with plenty of room for the animals to roam.

I went on a Thursday afternoon and it wasn’t too crowded, purell stations all over. There was a lot of small children running around with their parents calling them to come back but I didn’t mind. It was a very nice day out. I went by myself and didn’t have a set schedule so I was able to enjoy myself and set a easy pace. There are feeding experience for the giraffes you can pay for, snack stations all around and easy to follow path makers so you know what your heading to see.
