Then we will visit the majestic site of Kabah. While Kabah’s archaeological zone isn’t as grand or extensive as Uxmal's, it has a few unique features that make it well worth visiting. What has been excavated and restored includes some very unusual elements. Kabah is particularly important because is considered as being the last great Mayan city. Then we will go to the cenote Peba where you will enjoy, swim and relax in the crystal waters. Upon returning we will take you to Santa Lucia's Park, one of the city's most iconic and central places where you can find restaurants, bars, and shops.

The museo is a replica of the old Hacienda Uxmal. Then we will go to the cenote Peba where you will enjoy, swim and relax in the unique, crystal waters of this magical wonder. Upon returning we will take you to Santa Lucia's Park, one of the city's most iconic and central places where you can find restaurants, bars, and shops or to your hotel/hostal.

The importance of Uxmal also has to do with the enormous amount of work invested in the construction of its buildings. We will also visit the Mucuyché Hacienda and cenotes, where we will be able to enjoy the history of henequen, what the ruined farmhouse tells us. In that majestic Hacienda we can enjoy its cenotes, one of them bears the name of Carlota; a semi-open cenote, and a passage that connects with the second cenote that is cavern-like where you can still see a lot of history at the bottom of this cenote. Then we will delight ourselves with regional Yucatecan food at the Hacienda Mucuyché restaurant. Then you will have free time in the pool with natural salts and minerals, unique in Yucatan. We will return to Merida.

You will be picked up from your hotel in Merida at the time of your preference aboard a luxury Mercedes Benz vehicle. Go directly from your hotel to Uxmal’s Archaeological Site, known by many as place of legend and myth. It is situated within a series of hills known as the Puuc or “mountainous area” in the Mayan language.  In this amazing archaeological site a private bilingual guide will take you to explore colossal constructions like the Magicians Pyramid, the Governors Palace, the Dove’s Temple and the Nuns Quadrangle. The archaeological structures and buildings located throughout Uxmal are ornamented with geometrical figures and masks of the rain god, Chaac. The rain god was considered by the Maya people as one of the most important of their deities. After your visit you will have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious lunch at the restaurants of either the beautiful Hacienda Uxmal or in the gardens of the Lodge at Uxmal surrounded by unique Maya Palapas (at your own expense). Visit the Choco Story Museum to learn about the history of cocoa, its importance to the Mayas, the way it is cultivated and the traditional process to make chocolate.
