In the north, the serene Mangroves, atmospheric Purple Island, and historic Zubarah Fort set the tone, deepened by the quiet ruins of Jumail Village. The west offered a striking shift—otherworldly Zekreet Rock Formations, the bold minimalism of Richard Serra’s installation, and the vibrant Camel Racing Track. A stop for warm, spiced karak tea added a local, comforting touch. Abdul Rahman’s deep insight and eloquence made the tour feel less like sightseeing and more like storytelling.
