Overall rating
We had a lovely day, helped by the sunshine and clear skies (so we had perfect visibility). Wiktor our guide was really nice; he arrived promptly at the hotel, spoke excellent English and sorted out tickets and gave us directions when needed. Our favourite part of the day was the treetop walk as the views were stunning, it wasn’t too busy and there were plenty of lovely photo opportunities. Zakopane’s funicular railway was very busy but we got an excellent view at the very front on the way down. The panoramic vista at the top is absolutely stunning. We ate a snack lunch at the top so we could justify sitting and enjoying the view for longer! The stalls by the entrance to the funicular are decent and we enjoyed the main shopping street on the other side of the road from the funicular. We had two little treats on the way back - local mountain cheese smoked over an open fire and a slow drive through the UNESCO wooden village (whose name I have forgotten). Very nice! Super day overall
One of the best trips ever ❤️ driver was brilliant 👏 well done victor, full of information ..very nice lad..the day was amazing would recommend 💯 %.if in krakow try take in this day out. Extra layers needed extremely cold but did not put a damper on the day loved it will remember for sure 💜
Guide was friendly, enjoyed taking us to lots of unique places and made a great restaraunt choice for us to have lunch. More toilet stops would have made things better, and there was some miscommunication about where we would be meeting the guide and timings, but overall a fantastic day.
We had an exceptional day. The view of the mountains is amazing from the top of the tower. Then in zakopane, we went straight up to the funicular and we chose to snowmobile in the forest. I highly recommend this activity.
Excellent trip especially due to the weather. Clear views on a beautiful day. The scenery is breathtaking and it was worth the journey.
