Fantastic tour!!! Great culinary experience!!! Zaragoza really surprised me with the variety and originality of different tapas. They were rich, delicious, meaty, or vegetarian tapas, like the unforgettable mushroom tapas !!! The tapas were paired very well with excellent wines ! Our tour guide George was knowledgeable and entertaining! Another aspect of having this tour is meeting new people and making friends!!! The social aspect of touring with other fellow travellers should not be underestimated! Some of those meetings could turn into a life long friendships. All in all we highly recommend this tour. Our Guide George was great and my husband and I are considering visiting Zaragoza in the Fall and do the same tour again !

Full description

This cultural and culinary experience in Zaragoza will explore the influence of it's Mediterranean neighbours. The gastronomy of Zaragoza also draws on the produce of the Ebro basin, featuring excellent fruit and vegetables in many dishes. You will taste 4 wines from 4 different areas along with 4 local tapas. You will meet your guide at the Cesar Augusto Monument before heading off on a guided walking tour of Zaragoza's historical centre. Stop at 4 gourmet shops and bars and enjoy tastings of local wines and Tapas. You'll be able to chat with your guide about the local lifestyle of Zaragoza and at the end of the tour, your guide will be happy to recommend activities for the remainder of your stay here.

Roberto, native of Zaragoza, was an excellent guide; not only did we enjoy some of the finest local tapas and wine, but he explained the origins and history of the evolution of the samples. Highly recommend this tour, “ Viva El Tubo!”
