Once there, explore a reef that is big enough for everyone so you won't feel crowded, even on busy days. Keep your eyes peeled for yellow snapper, barracuda, turtles, and much more. After snorkeling, enjoy a snack stop on a sandbank. Relax under the sun as you savor seasonal fresh fruit and other small bites. Later, head back to shore on Unguja. Smoooth transport & fascinating scenery in Mnemba. We visited 3 different sites & got to swim in the most perfect shade of turquoise waters, no doubt the most clear bed of water I have ever witnessed. The cherry on top was the fresh fruitplatter that our captain put together for us, delicious! We had a private tour which was great because it meant that we got the boat for ourselves. There were quite a few other boats around (understandable because its such a spectacular site) - however, our guide kindly parked the boat slightly away from the crowds so we could enjoy our privacy as well :) 10/10 would recommend this excursion if you are in Zanzi!

Punctual! Picked up from the hotel and then a 20 minute drive to the boat... a small nutshell but great. Great fruits on the boat and lots of fish on the atoll and reef. It was totally worth it!

The pick-up and return took place on time with a reliable driver from a hotel on the south-east coast. A drive took about 1.5 hours to the north coast. A rather small boat brought us to the reef, which was not far from the coast on a private island. The reef itself is almost dead, hardly any corals, a few small fish. Very disappointing. We visited a second reef, not much better. Anyone who knows intact reefs should refrain from this tour, it is not worth it. If you just want to see a few colorful fish and a lot of black sea urchins, you can do this tour well.
