Overall, we had a great experience. We communicated with the company via WhatsApp and they were very responsive and helpful. Transportation was arranged for us through our booking. We reached out to Babu Tours and Safaris the day before via WhatsApp and exchanged information regarding our hotel, time of pick up, etc. Mohammed was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable, kind, patient and took a lot of pride in sharing the history and culture with us. I asked many questions and he answered me with enthusiasm every time! Unfortunately, the weather was not great, but Mohammed did not let that dampen his spirit or ours! Very important to note: there was no dock, the boat comes as close to the shore as it can and you walk through the water to board the boat. Keep in mind for shoes and clothes. We wore tevas. This was a wonderful trip! Mohammad picked us up from out hotel and walked us through town to the boat, where we enjoyed a leisurely boat ride to Prison Island. We got there before it was crowded and got to feed the turtles before too many people were there. After we went snorkeling at an incredible reef. Mohammad was wonderful and was able to give us lots of history and information on the surrounding islands as well. If you go, make sure to do the tortoises before the snorkeling or it might get very crowded! I would recommend this trip!
