We enjoyed the trip but unfortunately after we saw the history and the toitose we had to forgo the beach and the snorkelling because the weather took a turn for the worse which could not be helped but our guide Hamid was brilliant and could not have done more I throughly recomend him and the captain on the bot also. Full description

See the National Museum of Zanzibar (rebuilt in 1883) and the Arab fort while passing along bazaar streets towards the famous Freddie Mercury house. See the old slave market, fruit market, and spice market — don’t miss the classic Zanzibar curved doors decorating the stone town. 

After you have explored Stone Town, you’ll have an opportunity to take a short break before heading to Prison Island. Prison Island is also known as Changuu Island, the nickname came from the island being used by some sultans of Zanzibar to detain enslaved people.
While you are on this island, you can swim and take pictures with giant tortoises.

We had the best time on this tour! Our guide Hamdu was super friendly and knowledgeable and had answers to all of our many questions. The walking tour of Stone Town was full of interesting stories and histories and the trip to Prison Island was a dream as well. Everything was super smooth and well planned. We would absolutely do a tour with Hamdu and this company again.
