first of all value for money is the main point here, i think its worth it they were the best priced and also you feel safe booking with this tour, we met near Livingstone by the beach and all is handled by Bahama or Nassib at that point. the day itself was quite the experience, lunch was plenty of food best chips on the island haha, and also snorkeling around Nakupenda was beautiful and interesting to see. Prison Island, which costs an additional 15 dollars, but this is separately charged by every other tour also, is worth it, as it is interesting to see the massive tortoises, quantity of peacocks and dikdiks up close which in safari are very hard to see. overall if you're going to Prison Island, this should be your choice, take the Hakuna Matata approach always and everything will be fine and good, PolePole! Overall we had a fabulous day! first of all picked up at 5am by beach & safari holidays where we made our way to the airport to catch our domestic flight with unity air to Mikumi we landed on the airstrip and was immediately greeted by the safari staff where we had to look for our names to determine which jeep we would be in (seemed to be done by language) we then met our guide David who was very knowledgeable and told us the do’s & don’ts he was very good if we were to spot animals we just had to shout and he would stop allowing us to take pictures. The jeep ride was very rickidy, would recommend anyone doing this to cover up more than I did as was very breezy. Lunch also provided half way round safari. Plane ride was very comfortable bottled water provided flight time was around 45 mins Zanzibar to Mikumi 🦁🐘

From quick & clear communication as soon as I booked , to the entire trip running like clockwork - what a great company/activity ! ....just wish I'd booked longer. From hotel pick up, flight to Nyerere, immediate transfer to jeep (& fantastic guides), quick check in at accommodation & return journey - all ran so smooth. Overnight accomodation was slightly rustic but staff, food & area all fantastic. If you want to get the most of Nyerere & a chance to see more animals, please try & do more than 1 day - our day 2 with guide Kenneth was amazing & through his determination we got to see the lions. Had a smile on my face from start to finish - don't hesitate to book with Beach Safari !

An extraordinary guide with extensive knowledge of the area and the animals we encountered. I think we were lucky to see them all: buffalo, elephant, wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, lion, cheetah, warthog, hippopotamus, impala, monkey, and many birds. A voucher for a day filled with excitement. Thank you.
