Full description

Zanzibar is also known as a spice island because of the use of different spices in daily life starting from breakfast, lunch but also dinner. Through this tour, you will have an opportunity to see, touch taste, and smell some of the spices that we have here in Zanzibar because most of the people just eat the food without knowing what the tree looks like by its origin. Also, there is a session of seeing the coconut climber also known as a butterfly and you can taste the fresh Zanzibar coco-cola. In the end, there is a fruit testing session whereby you can have time to taste some tropical fruit that we have here in Zanzibar.

After that, we can do a stone town tour where the customer can have time to visit and see the culture of Zanzibar people with some of the historical sites that we have here in Zanzibar town as the House of Wonders, the Old Fort, and the old slave market as well.

The last point is Prison Island where the customer can have time to visit Changuu Island also known as Prison Island and see some tortoise around the place but also some history.

Die Organisation hat gut geklappt. Wir haben einen Tag vor der Tour eine WhatsApp mit weiteren Instruktionen erhalten. Die Abholung war sehr pünktlich. Man muss bedenken, dass Produkte verkauft werden sollen - so auf der Gewürzfarm auch. Die Überfahrt nach Prison Island war gut organisiert. Die Schildkröten sind ein Erlebnis! Stone Town hat sich dann etwas gezogen - wir wurden zu Beginn gefragt, was wir sehen wollen. Es gab zwischendurch wenig Infos. Auch hier soll verkauft werden - so haben wir an einem größeren Shop halt gemacht und konnten die Toilettenpause zum stöbern nutzen. Auf der Rückfahrt dann kam es leider zu einer kleinen Panne - reifenplatzer. Der wurde direkt vom Fahrer gewechselt und wir waren nach ca. 7 Stunden wieder im hotel. Hervorzuheben ist, dass man wirklich für sich alleine unterwegs ist. Wir haben die Tour zu vier gebucht und in unserer Gruppe hatten wir Auto/guide etc. für uns alleine.

They arrived on time to pick us up at the hotel. From there, they took us to a plantation where they showed us lots of spices, fruits, and plants. We ended with a show where a guy climbed a coconut tree and they put crowns made of leaves on our heads. It was a nice touch that required a tip. Afterwards, they show you lots of things to buy, which is totally optional. We got in the car and they took us to the port where we took a boat to Prison Island. There isn't much to see, but the turtles are spectacular. We took the boat back and this time we went to Stone Town. As it started to rain, we took the opportunity to have lunch. Finally, we explored the city on foot. Overall, a good experience! We would do it again.

It was a very nice day. Everything went perfectly.
