This was a superb day ! The driver was super polite and kind. The guide was absolutely lovely too and very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all aspects of the trip! The spice tour was so interesting and full of facts and brilliant knowledge to have picked up. We also stopped off between places to see how the wooden doors are carved. Lunch was very nice and times well. Fruit tasting for afters! The forest walk was great too and saw lots of monkeys, crabs, fish, etc. the mangrove forest was really great to see too. I cannot recommend this trip highly enough. The staff were great and the learning, fascinating. Thank you 👌😊

Full description

This is a combination of Spice tour and Jozani forest tour on the same day, during Spice tour, You will walk through villages and spice farms learning about how Spices are grown and harvested, You will get knowledge on how spices are used as a medication and flavor in local dishes, also You will meet with rural farmers and have chance to learn African farming methods. You will get delicious Lunch on Spice tour and taste some of Zanzibar fruits such as Bananas, mangoes, oranges, papaya and so on. After Spice tour, You will do Jozani forest tour: on this trip, You will see and interact with red colobus monkeys, bush babies, birds, butterfly, and able to take video and pictures with them. You will explore Medical plants and Mangrove forest where you can see Indian ocean tropical fish flitting between mangrove roots and crabs scuttling across the mud.

great fun, the spice tour was super interesting and got to taste some delicious fruits. our driver was lovely and great. jozani forest tour was slightly rushed but still good and interesting.
