Things to do in Zanzibar City

The activity was a wonderful day trip! We were picked up ahead of time by our driver Abdul, who drove us safely from activity to activity. He enjoyed chatting with us and then took us to the spice farm, where our guide Salim was waiting for us. He accompanied us throughout the day and showed us around the spice farm. His English is very good and he has a very funny way about him, which makes it an unforgettable experience. The people on the farm also contributed to this and generously provided us with local food, fruit, and woven accessories made from banana leaves. We also had the chance to buy spices ourselves. The guided tour of Stone Town was also very interesting and Salim told us about the history of the city. He led us through the narrow streets of the city, told us a lot and showed us the most important sights. The slave museum and the local market were also very interesting.
