Amsterdam: Bus dayticket to Haarlem and Zandvoort (beach)

Amsterdam: Bus dayticket to Haarlem and Zandvoort (beach)

Explore a brilliant day trip from Amsterdam in Haarlem, a relatively small city but with more than enough historical sights, cultural attractions, and hidden tiny courts. There’s plenty to keep you entertained – including river cruises, flower markets, and more – and thanks to its compact size, it’s easy to get a good introduction to the city even if you only have one day to explore it. Enjoy the beautiful wide sandy beach by the North Sea or the beautiful views from the kilometers-long promenade in Zandvoort - one of the oldest seaside resorts in the Netherlands: in 1828, the first bathhouse was put into use. Numerous celebrities visited Zandvoort, which is still one of the most popular beaches in the region. Not just travel to the beach with bus line 80 – the Amsterdam Beach Line, it's also worth taking a walk or a bike ride in the Dutch dunes to visit the Circuit Park Zandvoort or to see the historic city of Haarlem.

Amsterdam to Haarlem: Private Day-Trip Experience

Along with your friendly, local guide, enjoy an authentic Haarlem experience on a personalized tour. Explore this picturesque city’s history, culture, and fantastic food scene as you’re led down quaint streets (those off the well-trodden tourist trail) flanked by grand architecture. You'll be paired with guides that are passionate about the place they call home and who choose to spend their free time sharing it with like-minded travelers matched to them. Meet your host at Amsterdam Station (or directly in Haarlem) and begin to explore this university town, an enchanting hub of leafy courtyards, gabled houses, and monuments dating back almost 800 years. Walk along tranquil canals and explore Haarlem’s quaint cobbled streets, straight from the pages of a storybook, while marvelling at grand gothic-style churches and turning down the lesser-known streets and exploring hidden gems. Peer into cosy bars, fine cafes, and the unique stores that have given Haarlem a reputation as one of the world’s best shopping cities. Visit Molen de Adriaan, a traditional windmill and a striking feature of Haarlem’s skyline for centuries. See the monumental Grote Kerk, a Protestant church in the city center that’s home to a world-famous gilded organ and a treasure trove of medieval art. Join locals browsing stalls selling fresh produce, local cheeses, clothes, and antiques at Grote Markt, an authentic taste of the day-to-day life of Haarlem’s people, and admire the grand buildings lining even the quietest of streets. Of course, in a city famed for having the best museums in the Netherlands, it would be a crime not to explore them. The Frans Hals Museum is always an excellent choice. Your itinerary can be personalized according to your preferences. Once you’ve booked, someone from the local partner's team will be in touch so arrange any preferences or special requirements.

Photoshoot in or around Amsterdam

You can choose from a 30, 60 or 90 minutes photoshoot. Depending on the package we can walk around and take pictures at multiple locations or just explore one area, whichever fits your needs better. We agree on the location based on your preferences. I have several tried and tested locations but if you have a concrete idea in your mind, just let me know. Otherwise all I ask is if you have any wishes if you would like a classic Amsterdam canals/streets photoshoot, or perhaps one on the beach (Zandvoort is quite close) or in a flower field. Please note if the photoshoot requires travel or entrance fees it might come on top of the session fee.

It was great that this covered all modes of transport in amsterdam but 20 euros for one day for one person is too expensive. It should be cheaper for one person, especially since I would have wanted to purchase this for me and my sister for the multiple days we stayed in amsterdam.

It makes everything easier for you and it is easy to obtain. Right at the airport, when I left my flight, there was a white, blue and grey machine where I could redeem it and so I saved time and was able to travel around the region unlimitedly and comfortably.

I loved the ability to travel around Amsterdam and the surrounding area without worrying about transport tickets.

super practical especially for going to Zaandam and Zaanse Schans essential for going to the airport 😊

Everything is fine except that maybe we should think about lowering the prices a little.
