We had an absolute blast! The views were stunning – every moment was worth it. Denis was our tour guide and he was truly excellent. Friendly, funny, upbeat, and incredibly patient, he made the whole experience even more enjoyable. He went out of his way to make sure everyone was having a good time, and was so thoughtful in carefully spotting turtles for us on both sides of the boat so no one missed out. Highly recommend this tour – and if you get Denis as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic time!

Full description

Start from a meeting point at the Agios Sostis Harbor or select the option that includes hotel transfers from Kalamaki, Alykanas, Tsilivi, or Zante Town. Hop aboard a glass-bottom boat that lets you take a peak beneath the waves while cruising along the crystal-clear waters.

Glide accross the water to Marathonisi Island which is also known as Turtle Island, because it is in the shape of a turtle and it has a nesting beach which draws caretta caretta (loggerhead) turtles. Stop for a refreshing swim or stay onboard to admire white sands and watch for turtles from the boat.

Bring along your snorkeling gear to explore the underwater world on your own terms. See how the light plays on the arched walls of the Keri Caves and swim at this scenic spot which is only accessible by boat before returning to the Agios Sostis Harbor.

It was an amazing experience. The crew took great care of us, we managed to see 3 turtles, we stopped to see the caves, to swim and spent some free time on the beach at Marathonisi island. The trip was also quite balanced, with enough time to relax and swim, but also with enough different sightseeing spots. The boat is also of medium size (~20 people), so it doesn’t feel too crowded, but is also quite stable and fast compared to the smaller ones that many tour operators offer. All in all, we are very happy with our choice, we had a great time and totally recommend it.
