•We pick up people who come on Cruise ships from the cruise terminal, where they will be tendered. Also, we can adjust the pickup/drop-off times according to the cruise ship's schedule, so they can join our tours, and be back on time for departure. •Note that our free pickup radius is up to 10km from our office at Lomvardou 20, Zakynthos town, which is also a pickup point. For accommodations outside of this radius, and up to around 20km, we charge 25 euros in total (including both, pickup and drop-off). If it is further you have to contact us to arrange if you like a special shuttle service or if you have transportation please inform us that you will meet us at our office •Please wait outside your hotel 30 minutes before the listed start time of your tour •The van has a sign with the logo of Dali Tours on the front glass

Full description

Spend the day at sea on this multi-stop boat tour in Zakynthos. Visit the Gulf of Laganas and the picturesque Cameo Island, Turtle Island (Marathonisi), and a local olive oil press. Meet the resident turtles, swim near the Keri Caves, and taste olive oil samples. 

After hotel pickup, start discovering the highlights of the southern region of Zakynthos. The first on our list will be Cameo Island, walk and take pictures on the bridge and visit for a short swim stop or for drinking a refreshment admiring the unique landscape. There is an extra charge of 5€ to enter the island.

Next, embark on a 3-hour cruise on a glass bottom boat around the beach of Laganas. Keep an eye out for the Caretta turtles who inhabit the surrounding waters and wait for them to come out of the water to take a photo. Stop at the nearby island of Marathonisi, also known as Turtle Island. Admire its beautiful caves and white sand beaches, swim in the crystal clear waters, or snorkel into the caves to explore the amazing sea life.

Continue sailing to the Keri Caves, located on the southern coast of Zakynthos. Make a 20-minute stop for swimming into a large cave before returning to the port and traveling to the Aristeon Olive Oil Press. 

At the press, learn about the long history of olive oil production on the island and taste some samples before returning to your hotel.

  • Please wear your swimming suit under your clothes. The places that you will visit on this tour include water interaction.
  • There are no toilets on the boat or on Marathonisi Island. We will stop for the toilet before boarding the boat.
  • There are many floating canteens on Marathonisi island, where you can buy snacks and refreshments but you can bring your own.

Greatday. Picked up To see Turtle beach then whisked off Turtle spotting. We got to see these incredible creatures in a glass bottomed boat. Then we were taken to a beach for a swim & drinks. Then were taken to see the Kiri caves awesome sight. All along the local guides were directing us where to look and were so friendly. The boat could fit about 15 people but there were only 6 tourists including us so no one was cramped. We ended the day at the olive museum really interesting and its supportive of local families. The fresh product is tasty. The orange and lemon flavoured olive oil so good on salads. At the end we were all dropped off at our original pick up points. Please make sure you tip the boat captain and the driver guide. They deserve it, so budget for that. You could get cheaper tours locally however you are fully insured and will not get the advance service. We were contacted and told that a cruise ship was due it and given the option to change to avoid clouds. VG service.

Loved every minute of this trip. Easy to book and felt like a very fluid, well organised half day. It never felt like we were rushed at any point but nor did we spend too much time at any activity. I was worried that the olive museum would be a drag and a bit of a hard sell, but it was the complete opposite. We had a good, brief introduction to the process and then sampled some of the produce. There was no pressure to purchase. We saw 4 or 5 turtles on our way to Turtle Island - they do exist! Our captain was excellent, stopping numerous times to point them out and taking time to allow us to take photos. We were left on turtle island for about 50 minutes to swim and sample some of the floating snack bars. It was a perfect day and I’d recommend going early to avoid the larger crowds. If I had to change one thing, it would be to allow a little more time to swim when we stopped near the caves as 20 minutes went by too quickly. Well worth it & I’d definitely do it again.

It is a great way to spend a few hours in Zakynthos. Keri caves are beautiful, and we enjoyed swimming off the boat in the blue water. We did see a turtle, but like others commented, we felt bad about how the boats swarmed a turtle when it came up for air. Also, the stop at Turtle (marathonisi) island was too little long for us (1 hour). The beach is quite pebbly, and there were little fish nibbling at is. The tour company does not add much value other than chauffeur to the beach and olive oil company, and helping navigate the crowds at Laganas beach (which could be quite overwhelming). If you are adventurous you could join one of the boat tours directly at the beach, and head to an olive oil place on your own (this stop was not that interesting... more of a push to buy from the olive oil producer). But overall the tour guide was very nice, decreased the stress of figuring out where to go/park, who to hire for a boat ride, and navigating the hectic parking lot.
