After hotel pick–up, follow the coastal road to the north. Drive through the villages of Zakynthos until your first stop at a viewpoint overlooking the village of Alikes and the cove of Laganas. Continue to the north toward Xigia Beach, a pebble beach unique on the island due to its waters having high sulfur and collagen content, giving the beach a distinctive sulphuric aroma. This is a great place for anyone with aches, pains and arthritis to bathe, as the sulfur in the water helps the ailments. It is also good for skin problems and is rumoured to remove cellulite.  Then, drive to the northwest to the viewpoint of the world-famous shipwreck, where amazing views will take your breath away. Next, stop at the Anafonitria Monastery. Later, stop at a local market and try a variety of local products and do some shopping. Continue with a visit to the village of Kampi, an amazing viewpoint with many local taverns and the possibility for lunch. On the way back to your hotel, stop at a local winery to taste some local wines and learn about the local varieties.
