From Zagreb: Ljubljana, Postojna Cave & Predjama Castle Tour

The organisation was outstanding and our two guides were very informative and interesting. Ljubljana is a beautiful little town where we had time to explore by ourselves after a tour around the centre. Predjama Castle is in a stunning setting and quite different to other castles I have seen. The cherry on the top was our excursion to Postojna Cave. The ride into the cave in the train was exciting as we saw more and more stalacmites, stalactites and columns. But that was nothing compared to what amazing caverns we walked through with the guide. Spectacular seems to be the best word to describe these formations.

This was an amazing trip! I’m traveling solo and thought it would be fun to visit Slovenia for a day. It was so beautiful I want to plan another trip just to go there! My tour guide, Antonio, made the experience great. He knowledge of history surpassed any guide I’ve had on a trip anywhere (and I’ve been to almost 40 countries). Also he was extremely patient & kind helping me to take dozens of photos (I’m a picky girl & gotta have the right angle haha). It was a fun tour solo too because I met several nice people. The bus holds 8 so it was cool meeting other travelers. I would recommend this trip to anyone. It was well worth it! The caves and castle were spectacular & I’m definitely visiting the city again someday :)
