1. Zagreb: Plitvice Lakes National Park and Rastoke Tour

Benefit from pick-up at your hotel in Zagreb, and then make your way to the 16 lakes of the beautiful Plitvice Lakes National Park. Arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage Site to take a nature walk through the magnificent woodlands of Gornja Jezera (Upper Lakes). Marvel at a system of 12 lakes separated by travertine barriers and take a closer look at the marble formations of the incredible natural phenomenon. Learn how the lakes, karst rivers and streams are an ongoing process that continue to shape the landscape over time. See some of the magnificent waterfalls and stand in front of the 78-meter high Large Waterfall (Veliki slap) to hear the roaring thunder of the water as it hits the ground. If you are looking for a full-day adventure, you have the option to book this experience with a morning city tour. If you book this option, you will meet your local guide at 9 am for a tour of the city before departing for the lakes.

Zagreb to Split Private Transfer with Stop at Plitvice Lakes

2. Zagreb to Split Private Transfer with Stop at Plitvice Lakes

The tour starts with a morning departure from your accommodation in Zagreb. Just an 1.5-hour drive away is the first stop in the idyllic watermill village of Rastoke. It has a similar natural phenomena occurring as the Plitvice Lakes and it is often referred to as 'the Small Lakes of Plitvice.' See the unique structure of well-preserved wooden watermills on the waterfalls of river Slunjcica. The village found its place at the foot of Napoleon’s army in the 19th-century since the area of Rastoke was actually the eastern border of Napoleon’s Empire. It has an important autochthonous ecologic and ethnographic legacy. After the tour and coffee in Rastoke village, you will continue to National Park Plitvice Lakes, only a 20 minute drive away. The tour of the national park will take approximately 3 to 4-hours and will include hiking along both the upper and lower lakes, a boat ride over the big lake and a train ride through park area at the end. You will be able to see 16 green and blue colored lakes arranged in cascades and connected to each other by a series of beautiful waterfalls surrounded by captivating forests and vegetation. Before heading to Split, you will enjoy lunch at one of the local restaurants where you can try the traditional food of the area (optional, not included in the price). You can expect to arrive in Split at around 18:00. This tour is also possible in reverse direction: Split - NP Plitvice Lakes - Zagreb.

A fantastic trip with an amazing tour guide Antonio. He was brilliant, the amount of history and knowledge that he has was outstanding! The tour around the Lakes that he took us on allowed us to see everything and more. Thank you for an amazing trip

Very nice experience! We had a crush on Rastoke and were dazzled throughout the hike! Our guide, Stjepan, is very cool, interesting and really enjoys showing us around the village and the lakes!

There were only three of us on the trip. So there was our very own driver and guide who toured the lakes with us. 10/10.

Luka was an amazing guide. Took as much time as we needed to see the National park.

Tour guide was very helpful and explained everything while on the ride.
