It rained occasionally, but there were also sunny spells, so I was able to walk comfortably. A raincoat is a must. Due to the heavy rains from last week, we were able to see a magnificent waterfall. Even the veteran guide, who has been guiding for 13 years, said it was the first time he had seen this amount of water, and he seemed happy as he took photos. Although it was August, it was chilly and I needed long sleeves, probably due to the rain. It was a walking tour through nature, with scenery reminiscent of the scene where Lord Yamagami appears in the movie ``Princess Mononoke'', and it felt like the ``kodama'' were guiding the way. . The guide's story was interesting, and I was also moved by the wonders of the natural world, such as how the shape and depth of the lake change every year.

Highly recommend this as an incredible way to transfer from Zagreb to Split (or vice versa). Marco our guide was funny and very knowledgeable. We learned so much about the history of Croatia which was a great way to start our trip. Plitvice Lakes is simply magical and a destination you cannot miss when you’re in Croatia. The restaurant we stopped at for lunch was fantastic with great local dishes that were recommended and very friendly staff.

Excellent transfer between Zagreb and Split with a visit to the Plitvice Lakes. It is worth it because the trip is used to see a spectacular place. Both Marko and Borna (the guides) are very friendly and attentive to the group at all times. Highly recommended.
