    Leave Zagreb and head to the Lika region. The first stop on the itinerary is the picturesque watermill village of Rastoke, located at the confluence of the Slunjčica and Korana rivers. Take a stroll through the town to admire the unique rural architecture. The tour continue on to Plitvice Lakes National Park. This is Croatia’s oldest and most visited national park, listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979. For centuries, water has formed waterfalls and created 16 crystal-clear lakes in this area. Enjoy the outstanding natural beauty of the forest landscape and the lakes that are connected by a series of waterfalls. Board an electric boat to cross Lake Kozjak and learn more about karst formations and the abundant animal life in the park. Become one with nature, enjoy the clean fresh air and marvel at the breathtaking views that surround you. The guide will be with you and your small group throughout the day, and will share some interesting stories about the areas you visit and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

      We had Petra as our guide and Mario as our driver, and I can’t praise them enough. Petra is super knowledgeable and answers every question you throw at her without any hesitation, patient and felt they have went over and beyond to give us a wonderful experience seeing these beautiful lakes and waterfalls during winter. Will surely be back sometime in summer and I know who I’ll be booking with. Doesn’t rush you and not only did they give us information about the lake they shared a lot of knowledge about all of Croatia. Well done!! And thank you

      I had Blaz as the tour guide. What an amazing trip it was - I would highly highly recommend this trip. I booked the trip the day before and I received an email giving me the exact location to meet and the time to meet. The whole day was planned brilliantly and with good timing. Blaz provided some excellent history of the trip and highlights for the trip. Throughout the trip Blaz made sure we were comfortable and went at a pace we were all comfortable at walking with.       Plitvice is a must visit if you’re visiting Croatia. Just gorgeous picturesque overall! With torquoise color of the lake water and waterfalls surrounding, just pretty scene. This is a hiking activity with boat ride. There’s cafe for food and restrooms per station along the hike. Kudos to our guide and driver (Renato). It was a great trip!
