We were picked up on time at our hotel. The driver gave us the choice to have lunch at a hotel / restaurant or at a nomad. He also gave sufficient explanation about the area and region and we have seen a lot of the way of life of the local residents. We were allowed to sleep in beds in the open air and this was really great. Seen many stars and woke up wonderfully from the sunrise. The road between Mhamid and Erg Chegaga was incredibly bumpy and sometimes almost painful on our backs, but the desert made everything right.
Well Mohammed was a great driver, very kind and really thoughtful. The desert experience was great. The local market we visited on his recommendation was absolutely great. Some of the other excursions that were included were unnecessary in our eyes, like the trip to the koran library which was quite the disappointment. If it was to us we would have love to spend more time in desert instead of the other spending time at koran library etc.
The experience is wonderful because it allows you to see the contrasts of the country through different towns and areas. The experience in the desert is wonderful and, in my opinion, obligatory if you travel to Morocco. Our driver, Lahcen, has taken us to good places to eat along the way. We have received a lovely treatment from you.
