Full description
Sail toward the southern part of Dugi Otok Island. This is where the sea embraces Telašćica, whose name derives from the Latin "Telagus" (meaning 3 lakes). Relax on the boat with a book or sunbathe on deck. Enjoy views of the picturesque Mediterranean landscapes along the way. Chat with the skipper if you are interested in sailing and hear all the secrets of their ancient craft.  Upon arrival at Telašćica Nature Park, enjoy some free time to swim and snorkel. Go for a stroll and give a treat to the timid donkeys. There's a donkey reserve within the park and the coastal (or Dinaric) donkey is an indigenous Croatian breed. Currently, there are 14 donkeys living in Telašćica, while the entire area abounds with flora and fauna. The park has 3 smaller bays within its wider area. Telašćica is the largest and best-protected natural harbor on the eastern coast of the Adriatic. It has 5 islets, of which the small rock slab of Taljurić is the most extraordinary. Continue to Lake Mir in the southwestern part of the park. The salt waters of the lake derive from the underground canals that connect it to the sea. Archaeological excavations made in the area indicate the place was inhabited in the earliest periods. On the return journey, go to Stene (also known as the "Devil`s Cliffs"). Marvel at the vertical cliffs that rise up to 61 meters from the sea. They spread from Mrzlovica Cape on the northwest to the slopes of Veli Vrh on the southeast.

The sailing trip was great. Staying on the sailboat was comfortable - we were 6 plus the skipper Luka. It had enough space and we could even sit at the front of the boat. Since there was too little/too much wind (or was the skipper still rather new? ;)), we only had the sails out on the return trip, but for almost an hour, that was great! The stay on Telascica, on the other hand, was moderate, the island looks beautiful in photos from a bird's eye view, but of course you don't see that when you're standing on the island. The salt lake was crowded and not very pretty, but the view from the cliffs was great. We spent most of our time snorkeling which was wonderful. We would definitely recommend the sailing tour, but you can skip the stop at Telascica, maybe sailing around the island of Kornat is nicer - we've never been on the outside with the high cliffs. Note: you don't go to Kornat, only to Telascica.

3 hours sailing on the motor along beautiful islands to national parc telascica, where you can swim in the saltwater lake, admire the high cliffs or just have a drink at the bar. On the way back a swimming stop in a beautiful bay and then set sail for 2 hours of sailing. Very friendly, experienced skipper who knew a lot about the area. Had a great day.

Cool trip with skipper Luca who explained lot. Most with motor but even nicer than with a big boat. And dolphins were seen! In nature park, the cliffs are really impressive and worth to be seen! The salt lake....is a lake. Nice, but not more. On the way back wind was okay so that sailing was possible. At least a very fine day and recommendable trip.
