Full description
Sail toward the southern part of Dugi Otok Island. This is where the sea embraces Telašćica, whose name derives from the Latin "Telagus" (meaning 3 lakes). Relax on the boat with a book or sunbathe on deck. Enjoy views of the picturesque Mediterranean landscapes along the way. Chat with the skipper if you are interested in sailing and hear all the secrets of their ancient craft.  Upon arrival at Telašćica Nature Park, enjoy some free time to swim and snorkel. Go for a stroll and give a treat to the timid donkeys. There's a donkey reserve within the park and the coastal (or Dinaric) donkey is an indigenous Croatian breed. Currently, there are 14 donkeys living in Telašćica, while the entire area abounds with flora and fauna. The park has 3 smaller bays within its wider area. Telašćica is the largest and best-protected natural harbor on the eastern coast of the Adriatic. It has 5 islets, of which the small rock slab of Taljurić is the most extraordinary. Continue to Lake Mir in the southwestern part of the park. The salt waters of the lake derive from the underground canals that connect it to the sea. Archaeological excavations made in the area indicate the place was inhabited in the earliest periods. On the return journey, go to Stene (also known as the "Devil`s Cliffs"). Marvel at the vertical cliffs that rise up to 61 meters from the sea. They spread from Mrzlovica Cape on the northwest to the slopes of Veli Vrh on the southeast.

It was a great day

The pick-up at the meeting point was on time. A life jacket for our 4 year old daughter was on board. The morning was almost windless (engine), but we were lucky enough to meet dolphins on the way. Our skipper shortened the stay on the island after consultation with us to 2 hours, which we found great and was completely sufficient. Snorkeling equipment was in abundance. Unfortunately there were no glasses for our little one and we had unfortunately forgotten them. In the afternoon there was a little wind and our skipper immediately set sail. Absolutely recommendable for this price, if you want to know how it feels on such a boat. PS When booking online there was no way to select a children's rate. We subsequently asked Gyg and half of the daily price for our daughter was easily reimbursed - TOP!

Total relaxation

I let a few days pass before evaluating to have a point of comparison with the other trips I was going to make. We love it, not for the destination that is not that surprising, but for the boat trip. You could enjoy the scenery on the way, sunbathe on the sailboat, dive. We made trips to the elphie islands to the caves near split and to smaller islands and this was undoubtedly the one we liked the most. The boat is excellent and stops. We also love the fact that there is a maximum of 8 people (I said on the boat)

Very nice day trip with the sailing ship. We were 6 people on the ship and therefore had a lot of space. We were able to move freely on the boat. During the two-hour shore excursion, we visited a restaurant. The food was good, but it took us an hour as the service took a long time. I would recommend taking something with you here (fridge on the ship is available) or just a little something in the fast food booth. Then there is more time for the tour over the cliffs to the lake and a refreshment bath. Bathing in a bay was incredibly beautiful. Unfortunately, from my point of view, the sailing itself was a bit short. Only about an hour in total. We drove the rest of the tour with the engine, despite optimal winds. It would then probably have been too late. Our captain Daniel was always very friendly.
