Full description
Benefit from pick-up at your hotel in Zadar, and then travel into the Dinaric Mountains to explore the terraced lakes and waterfalls of Plitvice Lakes National Park.
Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, the location is marked on old maps as the Devil’s Garden and considered by many to be the most beautiful spot in Europe! Marvel at 16 interconnected lakes where water pours from the moss-covered travertine rocks to create an impressive network of cascades and natural pools. The drive from Zadar will take approximately 105 minutes, and you will have 4 hours at the park to explore.
Discover the diverse flora and fauna and get the chance to see wild boar, wolves and bears! Visit the Upper and Lower Lakes to experience the unspoiled nature in full. Although swimming is not allowed, your guide will show you the best places to explore and relax. During the tour you will also get the opportunity to ride across Lake Kozjak by electric boat.
