Hop back onboard the bus for the comfortable ride back to your meeting point in Yulara. 

Join a guided sunrise tour to Field of Light, an immersive art installation featuring 50,000 solar-powered stems and globes that resemble a field of glowing flowers, with transfers from Yulara included. See the gentle rhythms of color light up the desert and enjoy a hot drink at the crack of dawn. Rise early to travel the short distance to a desert location overlooking Uluru. Your driver/guide will provide insights and the background of the art installation. Under the cover of darkness, wander through the pathways that encompass the 50,000 spheres of light in the desert, before making your way up the hill to the Dune Top viewing area. Watch the transformation of colors and life as the desert awakens, while enjoying tea, coffee, or hot chocolate. Gaze in awe as the sun rises in the distance behind Uluru and the first rays of sunlight creep across the desert sky. See the landscape, including Kata Tjuta behind you, be flooded with light. Immerse yourself in the desert landscape as the sun rises over the Red Centre. As the natural light brightens the landscape, see the Field of Light dim for the day. Capture some photos from this unique raised location, where you can view both Uluru and Kata Tjuta in all their natural glory.

Even if you have walked around Uluru, you won't fully apprecaite the awesome spectacle of this monolith until you see it from the air. You will be able to take photos that you will treasure forever through unique bubble windows. Upon pick-up from your hotel in an air-conditioned transfer coach, you will be driven to the Ayers Rock airport where your crew will provide you with a thorough brief on helicopter safety prior to boarding the helicopter.  After boarding the helicopter, you will then be flown to discover the awe-inspiring scenery of Uluru and its surroundings. Exceptional visibility is frequent in the Red Centre - witness the breathtaking vastness and stunning contrasts of the Australian desert landscape. 

Travel from Ayers Rock Resort to the beautiful Kings Canyon in Watarrka National Park, stopping for breakfast at Kings Creek Station along the way. Once at Kings Canyon, you'll make the rock climb to its rim for some marvelous views of Watarrka National Park and the spectacular surroundings. Follow the rim of the canyon along the 3-hour circuit walk, stopping to look down into the canyon gorge at various look-out points along the way. Time permitting, you may choose to descend into the green oasis of the 'Garden of Eden.' While the tour is recommended for those with a good level of fitness, you may opt for the easier, shorter walk to explore the boulder-strewn canyon floor. Then, you can grab lunch at your own expense. Finally, begin your return journey to Ayers Rock Resort.

Depart Ayers Rock Resort and journey into the sacred world of the Aboriginal peoples of Australia on a drive around the base of Uluru in a comfortable bus. Get explanations about the extraordinary site from your driver/guide, and hear about the numerous sacred sites found there. Continue to the Kuniya Walk, where your driver/guide will escort you to the beautiful Mutitjulu Waterhole.  See Aboriginal rock paintings, and learn more about the area as you are shown some of the native flora and given details of both the Aboriginal and European history of Uluru. Next, go to the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre and learn about Aboriginal culture. Look at fine examples of Aboriginal arts and crafts, and then journey back to the rock in time to watch the sunset from the viewing area.  Marvel at the striking color changes on the rock as you enjoy nibbles and a complimentary glass of wine.

Get ready for a memorable night with the stars. Peer through high-strength telescopes to experience stargazing in the outback against the backdrop of scenic Uluru. Begin your adventure with pickup from your accommodation. Journey to an extraordinary stargazing location, away from light pollution. Gaze up at the sparkling star-filled sky as your guides share their knowledge with you and highlight the wonders of the Australian night sky. Using powerful telescopes and binoculars, discover planets and deep sky objects otherwise not seen with the naked eye. Take the opportunity to have your professional photograph taken with the star-filled sky as a backdrop. If you love astro-photography, bring your own camera and tripod to take your own shots. Finish off the night with drop-off back to your hotel before being ready to cozy up in bed and dream about the stars.

Board your coach for the drive to the sacred site of Kuniya Piti and be captivated as your driver shares the Tjukurpa.   Hike around the base of Uluru on the Mala Walk. See some of the sacred sites where Aboriginal communities live and prepare for their ceremonies. Some believe that as you walk through this area, you’ll be surrounded by the spirit of the Mala Tjukurpa – the hare-wallaby people. See the vision of a powerful waterfall in a desert at Kantju Gorge! Continue along the Lungkata Walk and hear the Tjukurpa story of a cheeky Blue Tongue Lizard. Discover ancient Aboriginal rock paintings and learn about the Indigenous and European history of Uluru. End at Kuniya Piti, where you will get a certificate of your achievement.

Travel in a comfortable transfer from your hotel to the base of Uluru, an impressive sandstone rock formation. Upon arrival at the Segway base area, you'll be led by your fully qualified and knowledgeable guide into the iconic Mutitjulu Waterhole to explore its sights and sounds. This is one of Uluru's lesser-known hidden gems. You will also be taken to see some authentic Aboriginal rock art art. Your guide will provide you with Segway training, giving you a chance to take part in a short safety briefing and have a practice ride of your Segway. Afterward, you'll be ready for your guided tour of magical Uluru (the native name of Ayers Rock). You will quietly and effortlessly cruise a quarter of this enormous rock's base on your Segway. After exploring by Segway we'll travel around Uluru by bus to explore more caves and learn more about local culture on the Mala Walk and Kantju gorge. See both the beauty of Uluru and Kata Tjuta on this helicopter experience. This tour will showcase Kata Tjuta, which means "many heads". It is made up of a group of 36 conglomerate rock domes, the highest of which stands 198 meters taller than Uluru. Ensure that you don't miss out on seeing the entire formation by taking a ride in by helicopter. With the wide spread of the domes and local restrictions due to sacred sites, access from the ground is restricted to only 75% of Kata Tjuta. Day 1 Get picked up at Yulara's Ayers Rock (Uluru) Airport and head to your first stop, the Red Center’s Aboriginal interpretive cultural center. Enjoy this chance to learn about the cultural, ecological, historical, and geological significance of this special national park. Next, take a short drive to the base of Uluru. Walk to the Mutitjulu waterhole to discover sacred rock art sites and hear the creation stories of Kuniya and Liru before continuing the trek to Kuniya Piti. From here, drive to Kantju Gorge and admire the highest waterfall in Central Australia, an elders’ cave, and the world's oldest pantry. Finish your day at the campsite, enjoying panoramic views of the sunset as you wait for your dinner. Day 2 Get up bright and early and enjoy a light breakfast before taking in a spectacular sunrise in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. As you drive into the park, admire the immense mountain of Kata Tjuta. Begin your trek through the Valley of the Winds or Walpa Gorge, marveling at the mighty conglomerate rock formations. After exploring Kata Tjuta, head to the Kings Canyon region just in time to experience a glorious outback sunset followed by a hearty meal around the campfire. Day 3 Begin your day early and head to Kings Canyon (Watarrka), the ancient home and sacred grounds of the Ulpanyali and Lilla people. After arriving, marvel at the towering 100-meter cliff faces and views of sandstone chasms. Grab your water, hat, and sturdy shoes and trek through the canyon. After a well-earned rest, enjoy some downtime as the bus meanders through the spectacular route home via the Mereenie Loop Tourist Drive through the West Macdonell Ranges to your final destination of Alice Springs.
