Full description
Meet your driver in the early afternoon and travel to the mystical 36 domes of Kata Tjuta. Sit back and relax while you enjoy panoramic views of the southern side of Kata Tjuta during your drive and learn about local Aboriginal culture and custom before arriving at Walpa Gorge. Spend some time exploring the gorge and the unusual conglomerate rock formations.

The Walpa Gorge Walk is categorised as an easy 2.6km stroll that takes in a nice representation of the native wildlife and plants of the park. Your guide will lead you through the walk, providing lots of information  and pointing out various wildlife and geological aspects.

The rocky track gently rises passing rare plants and ending at a grove of spearwood trees. Depending on the weather, you may come across a small stream running through the landscape. Walk within the sheer walls and experience this amazing landscape before returning in time for any evening touring or dinners.
